The Art of Layered Lighting: Ambient, Task & Accent Lighting for Living Rooms
Sanjana Rao
Senior Lighting Architect
Lighting is the single most powerful element in interior design. A well-lit room creates depth, highlights artwork, and dictates emotional atmosphere.
Rule 1: Never use cool daylight (6500K) bulbs in living and sleeping spaces. Stick to 2700K - 3000K warm white LEDs for cozy elegance.
